| Brinna Wyatt crashed landed on the planet Demeter three years ago, and has been stuck there ever since. Making due with the situation, she took employment as a simple maid as a way to hid her origins. There, she meets Dragon Rider Damien Black, who has taken as much interest in her as she has with him. When her employment ends unexpectedly, Damien offers her a chance to come work for his family instead, which she jumps at as a way to get closer with him. Here, she learns more about what life on Demeter is truly like, and she finds herself making friends for the first time in her life. She feels like she belongs, although she often wonders how her new friends would feel knowing her origins. But Brinna’s peaceful life is shattered with the arrival of a scouting mission from Chione, and with it, a dark figure from her past who threatens to undo all the work she’s put in changing her life. |
